Opportunity Design™

Opportunity Design is a process we use to create new sources of revenue around products, services, brands and technologies. It embraces a trajectory for innovation based on inductive thinking ("ideation up") as a complement to deductive reasoning ("business case down").

Opportunity Design originates with design practices like user-centered investigation, critical and system thinking, and visual communications. From that starting point, Opportunity Design integrates business and marketing principles to inform the ways ideas are embodied, envisioned, vetted and evangelized.

By framing opportunities around user experiences and market strategies at the outset of new product or service initiatives, Opportunity Design develops ideas alongside engaging storylines.

We have applied Opportunity Design thinking to reposition products, invigorate brands, jumpstart new markets and envision intellectual property in ways that capture the imagination of investors and mobilize cross-functional teams.
