Mounting and adjusting bindings is a critical step in the consumer purchasing process. The Shop Practices Manual and other tools provide retailers with specific instructions that must also be communicated with consumers. Simplicity and ease of use is a critical element in the Shop Manual because it helps reduce mistakes and ensures consumer satisfaction. We engaged Catapult Thinking rather late in the planning for this project. We had a deadline that we had to meet that could not be moved. They got up to speed on the content and the needs very quickly. They took a very systematic approach to the work, and developed a simple, easy-to-understand format that helped reduce mistakes and improved the overall quality of shop work in the field.
