As a research strategist and director at Catapult Thinking, Elizabeth works with clients to conceptualize, create and direct research initiatives that drive product and service development and experience design strategies. Elizabeth has more than 20 years' experience in user research, ergonomics, human factors and interface development, including consulting engagements at IBM and HP and a directorial role at Fitch. For ten years prior to joining Catapult Thinking, Elizabeth was a partner, general manager and director of research and interface at the Boston office of Insight Product Development. Elizabeth has appeared in CMO Magazine, Boston Globe and Boston Magazine, taught at the School of Design at North Carolina State University and lectured at Babson College and Northeastern University. She writes and speaks regularly on product development processes, prototyping and research. She is an active member of the Industrial Design Society of America, the Human Factors Ergonomics Society and the Product Development Management Association. Elizabeth has a B.A. in psychology and sociology from Indiana University, an M.S. in psychology ergonomics (Human Factors), and a Masters of Industrial Design from North Carolina State University.
